Budget Advisory Committee Members Sought

The Selectboard seeks Brandon residents who would like to serve on this year’s budget advisory committee.  Candidates should be willing to attend as many of the budget workshops as possible.  These are generally weeknight sessions and this year are projected to be held from September through November.  The budget advisory committee’s role is to give advice and assistance to the selectboard as it builds the FY26 budget for proposal to the voters.

If you would like to be considered for the budget advisory committee, please

(1) submit the “appointments cover sheet” (linked here) and

(2) a letter of interest to Seth Hopkins, town manager, at shopkins@townofbrandon.com , to arrive by noon on Thursday, August 22nd.  Please also

(3) make yourself available to meet with the selectboard in executive session on Monday, August 26th.  The selectboard expects to make appointments at their August 26th meeting and then to set up the budget workshop series.
