Brandon’s “Designated Downtown organization,” a private, non-profit 501c3 organization, is called Main Street: Downtown Brandon, VT” Being a Designated Downtown in the State of Vermont provides a host of advantages that residents, property owners and the Town of Brandon are able to tap into to improve many aspects of the town.
The Main Street: Downtown Brandon, VT Board of Directors are: Jeff Stewart – President, Lorraine Kimble – Treasurer. Board Members: Line Barral. Judy Bunde, Blaine Cliver, Devon Fuller, Anne Marie Roth, and Virginia Russell – Emeritus
The Downtown Brandon Alliance follows the National Main Street Model and has four committees. They are Organization, Promotion, Design, and Economic Restructuring. The committees all meet on a regular basis and are populated with business leaders and community volunteers.
The Main Street: Downtown Brandon, VT Board of Directors meets the second Thursday of the month (and the fourth Thursday, if needed) at 9 am at the Brandon Free Public Library.
